HIGHLY recommend it! It’s genuinely fascinating! I feel TERRIBLE for the artist. He’s actually incredibly talented and I can’t imagine having my life’s work hijacked in such a way that it essentially becomes completely non-viable and damn near obsolete. The doc made me realize how a lot of the hatred that festers in these sort of 4chan underground internet cultures has less to do with race and more so to do with the idea of “otherism.” These are people who have clearly been made to feel like Outcast and unwanted in their actual lives and that shared experience creates community. So I understand the urge to fight fire with fire, especially when you’re the one now holding the torch. I mean, f*** em but still
