ziggySnyder's movies always look great but at the same time look kind of like a video game, I don't know what it is.
Maybe it's the mix of great cinematography with subpar CGI? Like all the shots in this look gorgeous but if you look long enough you realize it looks very fake or something? Like this shot for example:
I wish more people realised this. It looks like a video game cut scene not like a movie.

The only time the cgi looked great in a Snyder film was in Man of Steel tbh You almost forget all the costumes are heavily cgi’d while watching.
I think the subpar cgi might be a stylistic choice tho.

I think it’s the mix between film and cgi that limits the realism of the cgi tbh. 9/10 you can only do great cgi with digital cameras

I can't think of mvoies shot on film that has great cgi but im sure there are many
OPFeb 14, 2021·editedI hope y’all realize the CGI has only been worked on for like 6 months and they were only given $70 million which includes the additional photography money. Also, people have been working on this from home and I’m sure their home set up is not as good as the studio set up
