Truth is I don't like comedic relief in these s***s. Only cape flicks with good comedic relief that don't kill the vibe is Incredibles and prolly megamind

Sadly the idea of a DCEU was always an uphill battle. Regardless of talent level, a cinematic universe in itself is so high maintenance that there needs to be an entire studio dedicated to it.

Now it doesn’t help that the higher ups at WB during the development of Snyder’s DCEU were hellbent on seeing it fail from day one, but as I’ve said before: there needs to be a DC film studio for a DCEU to work.

Hopefully after the Snyder Cut there’s a brighter future for a DC cinematic universe, whether that be with the continuation of the Snyderverse or with WB sticking with their reboot plans, but it’s a slim chance

I mean I think the comedic relief in the Nolan Batman's are perfect in that its minimal but effective when its used and doesn't take away from the tone of the films

theres definitely a fair share of comic book movies that don't go overboard on s***ty comic relief like the recent mcu movies

They can have it but they don't use them well. It's ill placed and takes me out. They don't know how to transition from high tension to low tension so they'll drop some corny s***
