Even during the goofy fortnite moments, the movie takes Thor’s PTSD, guilt, regret, depression very seriously.

it actually doesnt in anyway. Thats why they mostly use Thor as comic relief throughout the entire film besides a few select moments. Its the same kind of cynical offensive "we think audiences are f***ing stupid" mentality that joss whedon infused in his justice league where they think its enough to put in a few scenes that showcase that trauma but the rest of the time he's practically insulted and made a joke. The fact he is fat is never used as anything more than comic relief and he as a character is still always portrayed as someone to laugh at. Nobody hates their characters more than Feige and people like you make me sick for enabling it.

The first WW didnt have great reviews tho, it was more like "Hey this movie isn't as bad / dark as BvS it's okay" and it's jarring when they praised more generic MCU films and such.
