HBO couldn’t afford to make Justice League a tv show lol OG cut cost like three mill lol whenever GoT tried to get ambitious in scope they had to cut to Tryron Lannister getting knocked out before a big battle and just shoot scenes in the dark.

That 300 mill budget was all this 4 hrs plus 25 mill in reshoots plus a couple mill on mustache eraser. Coulda prolly been closer to 260 270 mill had they just used this footage and not wasted the post production money on that s***ty reshoot footage

Still tho, they’re not spending the same amount of money on a tv show.

Realistically it d prolly have to be done with different actors and a smaller budget

Batman vs deathstroke is a far more believable mini series to make happen as it would be a smaller cast and more grounded story of deathstroke and lex terrorizing Bruce wayne

HBO is gonna go where the money is

This has been the only original content on HBO Max that has blown up on Disney Plus/Netflix levels. Until those game of thrones shows come, they’re gonna need something Mandalorion/Wandavision/Stranger Things/The Crown level

At some point they gonna have to pay big tho. Expectations rising and you got competitors like Disney dropping movie budgets on shows damn near year round now.

The fanbase is already there worldwide, it’s already your services biggest hit, and you got the attention and interest already…….idk man

Ik HBO Max got investments like that Batman GCPD show and Peacemaker coming next year but none of that is this…..at all. Like this brings attention

Justice League tv show would require way more cgi and sets than Wandavision, Falcon & Winter Soldier or Game of Thrones combined fam.

I remember when his name was being tossed around. He would’ve been great but ultimately he was lucky he didn’t get cast. Eisenberg’s career after BvS been going downhill ever since.

Rewatching DC movies and finally getting around to some I never watched....and man, these are worse than I remember.

And I'm someone who thinks DC >>>> Marvel in terms of heroes and comics.

Leto is like an A tier if not lower S tier actor and at tht level it’s almost impossible to play a bad joker.

It’s the most indulgent character a good actor could play. The limitations are usually more on the script side of things
