This movie was an unexpected crowd pleaser that pleased all sides (studio was afraid of it back in the day tho lmao) whereas his idea for justice league 2 would make BVS look like a wholesome family film for all lmao

I try to keep it positive and not talk bad on people, but Joss Whedon is a d***head and Warner shoulda let this rock.

I said before Marvel's best move was getting their universe up first. It made DC play catch up and try to copy their swag. All they really needed to do was edit this down to 3 hours and this is one of the top superhero films ever released

WB always wanted to start with a Justice League movie long before MCU wasn't even a thing. Avengers just pushed them to finally go through with it.

Even still Marvel had DC playing catch up and doing dumb stuff like not keeping their universe how it was.

Snyder not signing on if he's not doing his vision completely tho. He has the leverage at this point if the studio or HBO Max tries to come to him. Fans are at their neck too. They have no incentive or reason not to let Snyder do his thing anymore like they felt they did in 2016-2017.

They can choose to move on and not bring him back and all.....but he has all the leverage if they even attempt to go to him and can choose to deny them if the deal isn't right.

Bro got a Netflix film coming out and can easily grab another big budget story he's been working on. Balls on AT&T's court. He had a plan with a beginning and an end he not tryna do some other JL idea

that was on the general audiences for wanting DCU to be more like Marvel. They had full confidence in Snyder's vision for the DCU til BvS was critically planned. They weren't playing catch up, the goal was always to start with Justice League then branch off to solo films.

It's a solid idea too, Snyder's Justice League established every character well and I'm sure George Miller's version would've done the same.

Marvel getting set up first set the tone and perception of comic book movies. That's why folks were like " DC movies are too dark and depressing. Lighten up."

That's the reason they did reshoots to add comedy in the original version. That's why they got Whedon to give it that GOTG vibe

it's possible to set every character up in one movie, people are too stuck on the idea of origin stories for each character because of Marvel. Snyder just accomplished developing each character in his version.

I would've loved one more Man of Steel sequel and maybe a Batman solo before leading up to Justice League but we didn't need a stand alone for every character leading up to it imo.
