Not throwing shade at Peacemaker, because that was coordinated by James Gunn, so at least there's some planning and execution there. More so WB/DC rushing for more content they "think" the audience wants.

I liked the look Leto’s Joker better in Suicide Squad (minus the “Damaged” tattoos). Wasn’t really feeling him at the end of SZ JL. He reminded me too much of his role in BR2049 and even The Little Things.

As Warner Bros. pivots its superhero efforts to the multiverse, it's now being reported that The Batman will be set in DCEU's Earth-2. Additionally, the report from THR also claims that, except for The Batman, DC is planning for its films and shows to share the same universe. This means that The Batman will be an outlier, unconnected to the rest of the DCEU

Its on a new Earth yeah. But its just gonna be its own trilogy (?) and Reeves will get to expand the Gotham universe with hopefully other movies and shows like the upcoming Gotham PD HBO Max show that takes place before the film

edit: Its technically not main DCEU no. At one point it seemed like they wanted to explore multiverse more and do projects on different earths but it seems like they're changing plans

Pattinson Batman will be Earth 2
