Finally watching this

Cant stop thinking how dope it would’ve been if WB had given the DCEU time to really build the whole universe up.

Like if we had gotten an Atlantis Vs Themyscira movie to build up the mythological side of the universe, a Green Lantern/Martian Manhunter movie to build up the space stories.

Let the first team up movie be a Trinity movie, give Superman his own trilogy with death of Superman as the finale.

If it were up to me it would look like

-Man of Steel
-Wonder Woman
-Suicide Squad (first introduction to Batman as a side character, change the plot to be less supernatural and more crime focused, government trying to kill Joker or Batman or some s***)

-Batman V Superman (no Doomsday, No WW, Luther main villain)
-Green Lantern (introduce cosmic threats)
-Atlantis Vs Themyscira (introduce Aquaman + build mythological side of DC)

-Trinity (facing an earthly threat, intro to mother boxes)

-Flash
-Shazam
-Batman solo (villain should be somebody who’s targeting Bruce, more of a personal conflict which is why it’s handled solo)
-Death of Superman

-Justice League 1 (same squad that we have currently, no Superman revival)

-Justice League 2 (Superman revival, Green Lantern/Martian Manhunter join, Darkseid villain)

That way we’d have 13 movies leading up the final event, a handful of movies to build up Darkseid as a threat, ample crossovers, world building, and divisions prior to them finally uniting.

I liked it, way better than Whedon’s. I do have complaints (ancient lamentic music every time Wonder Woman breathes, Martian Manhunter’s design, epilogue felt pretty disjointed). But I thought it was dope overall and would’ve loved to have seen it in theaters

I've been rewatching this over the last week since I fell asleep a few times during my first viewing. I liked this a lot more on second viewing. Solid movie. Still parts that could have been cut out/sped out. My mom watched it with me and she liked it. When it finished she asked when the next ones out and I told her probably never and she says "So what the f*** we watched this for nothing? What happens next?"

Parts couldve been cut for sure but you cant blame Snyder for that,he got the green light to make his art ad he decided to go all out,hell if it was me Im doing a 6 hour cut just as a f*** you to WB

i hope you werent one of those many many people that complained about marvel always setting up for later stories within their films snyder just blatantly spent the last near hour setting for sequels that dont even exist so its basically just a honey trap for yall to go viral on WB again. i didnt hear a peep of criticism.
