One thing about these Alien villains in thanos and steppenwolf is that you just don't care about them or their philosophies no matter the amount of fancy words they use. Infact they talk too much and they fill obligated to say something grand every time they speak. These type of villains that are not human can only connect with the audience through their ruthlessness and philosophies imo. But the scenes where we are supposed to connect with these villains, Thanos or Steppenwolf will brag about their ruthlessness or brag about how and why the earth should bow to their philosophy and not show us. We were never shown why we should buy into Thanos perfect balanced philosophy. Just talk talk talk. And even though Thanos and Steppenwolf killed alot of people and caused destruction, it was too predictable for me to call them ruthless. Imagine the people that were snapped in infinity war never came back or if Thanos himself killed Tony or Captain America and not that other way they died. That's ruthless. I just felt nothing watching Steppenwolf or Thanos. They have some dope quotes but that's it.

Not loved but made excuses for it when they thought it was mainly Snyder . Even the parts that Snyder filmed that added jokes aren’t that great

BvS theatrical cut wasn't even THAT confusing.

The plots weren't connected fully but I was still able to fill in the blanks

I still prefer Snydercut to IW and EG tho. But I personally wasn't that invested in that run anyway.

I’m a fan of all 3 but I’ll never get the argument that ZSJL would’ve never hit in theaters even with a 3 hr cut when folks went back in theaters for Endgame just to see 5 mins of extra footage

    No. Stop.

Let me be clear. WB did NOT want zack to use ANY green lantern as an addition. Geoff John's has a GL show coming out soon and they thought zack would take shine away from that

Yeah I went back in my later reply because I forgot he did say that

The cultural relevance is STRONG in this one.

Ppl still will try to tell you this movie "flopped" and no one watched it all the while it broke streaming records in multiple different countries and is the #1 bluelray in the uk.
