Even when they do they are doing it because it will be the most commercially successful thing not because they care about us. Static coming soon will be a major test for them

One of my favorite openings to a comic book film ever. S*** was so ambitious to have that scene be the opening to your film

Watching Selma for the first time and I know I'm asking for a lot but I really wanted to see Superman interact with the institutions that help the people as well as fail the people and his influence on that and that influence on him. Something like the Wire but for Metropolis but also the world?

I cant believe I'm saying this but I wanted more journalism from Lois too lmao

But ideally it would be better as a series

Yeah they would never do that in a movie. They needed HBO Max shows to support their movies and build out their world MUCH MUCH SOONER. They were doomed to fail with every movie having such high stakes and not building out Metropolis, Gotham. Barely taking place in them at all. No dates. No basic human interactions just plot to plot

Seeing Superman (not Clark per se) have so many friends in Metropolis was pretty dope in STAS

Seeing him fight for so many causes and people and even go to other planets and telling their leaders that they need to treat their people better, fighting injustice, just so much material.

I am so confused on how people were okay with it not addressing reality in more distinct ways while it said "it is set in reality thats why we got 07/11 and Sears we want it to feel realistic". Like the News cast in trailer Neil De Grasse Tyson and all that suddenly vanished in the blink of an eye.

The fan fiction leaks of Lex Luthor running for president, Zsas and more were sadly better than what we got.

I don't know if they could have in the time allotted made a great or earned Justice League film by 3rd movie

yeah i like snyder superman its its own thing
smallville universe goat we got president lex there hope they greenlight that smallville cartoon soon and they dont f*** it up

The way to get people like this out of Hollywood is to stop giving them time to speak.
