chris reeve and margot kidder performances carry the whole movie
movie template is genius tho and 90% of capeshit still use its storytelling format
krypton scenes at the begining are the best in the movie
john williams music is best part of the movie and i understand using the themes in future movies but they shouldnt rely on it solely... use it when needed and move on

i love superman 1978 it has a lot of iconic s*** but its a product of its time its a lot of goofy s*** that doesnt hold up at all

Ruins how a superhero looks in the publics image and doesn’t set a good example for kids in the universe. Would be weird imo to see kids cheering on Superman/Batman going in to kill a group of people. Also they wouldn’t be much better than the villains either.
