I got that some . Think it would have all hit if Batmans rogues were in the movie rather than Lex . Lex focus and doomsday both didn't hit. Like if Batman actually killed Superman or got him so weak that superman was killed by a normal bullet the gravity of that would hit infinitely harder. Doomsday just wasnt it. But yeah that whole scene Batman was clearly talking and acting like a villain. As was he most of the film

Something we don’t consider cause of how big the MCU is known to be is that Feige - and the MCU itself - was always in direct competition with the existing universality of the core Justice League characters (but especially Batman and Superman and the Joker). This is since day one, and let’s also consider they didn’t have access to their own characters with similar existing recognizability. Even after the MCU is cemented, after the billions, after the influence on and dominance of Hollywood…Batman and Superman together on film for the first time is still Batman and Superman together on film for the first time. AND it’s your direct competition?????

They kind of had to follow suit with Captain America and Iron Man lol
