What Gunn/marvel movie do you think is washed out? Gunn you might not like how it’s shot but you can’t say his films are washed out. Marvel sure obviously out of 30+ there’s gonna be some not great ones but that’s 30+ movies compared to like 2 or 3.

Not a single MCU movie looks good man. Gunns guardians were the best looking out of them but they all range from washed out and stale (the spider mans, Captain Americas, etc) to looking like unreal engine on an old ass tv (infinity war/ endgame).

And Superman and the suicide squad absolutely look washed out. I think his guardians films look his best but even in those you can tell they’re no where as colorful as they appear (vol 2 funnily enough achieves it the best despite being the worst one of the 3)

Snyder is obviously in love with a darker aesthetic but you can’t ever say he doesn’t know how to make colors pop
