I haven't gone out with a friend in 2 years but it's starting to wear down on me and make me feel depressed. I only have my girlfriend for now and even then she lives f***ing 4 hours away

I definitely understand that. I'm not saying to avoid social contact entirely. You can still meet up with friends somewhere and stand or sit a distance away from each other. Better yet, you can talk to your friends on the phone or online. There are safe, responsible ways to do it.
