Yea i actually agree with that. Justice systems should focus on keeping crime as low as possible and helping victims recover. Who is helped if someone gets 20 years but doesn’t change their ways?

I know criminal defense lawyers personally and most false accusations boil down to that. However, on the other hand, there are lots of rapes going unreported, and nobody can seriously tell what percentage of accusations are false.

A celebrity is different because there can be vast amounts of money involved (unless the statute of limitations for civil suits has passed, as seems to be the case in one or several of these accusations), but this is of course rare.

Even rarer are accusations for political reasons, like Dominique Strauß-Kahn - that too can happen occasionally, but it's silly to think that Justin Bieber has enemies wanting to take him down through a conspiracy of several accusations

Him being as d***-addicted and entitled as he was, it's possible that he really did it. It's possible that it was consensual. It's possible that he didn't meet them at all. That's why I'm saying to kind of stay neutral. I can imagine all three scenarios being true.
