Exactly. I know a "regular shmegular person" who's life was ruined over a simple lie that some girl made up. The court did prove her wrong but IDK if he'll ever be able to even get a job again after that mess.
It saddens me cuz he was innocent and they tried to ruin his life like that. He was not only my friend but several others and it negatively impacted us for a while.

It's kinda sad how a woman can just say a random male celebrity raped her without any evidence or even any sign that they were actually in the same city or even state or country together that day or night and millions of people run with it.
Not to place the blame on women, it's just sad how they can just end someone's whole life like that. And it's not just women with rape or sexual assault, there's several things like that in both genders and I feel it's only increased during the age of social media, we're just in the trendy phase where rape is the main issue. It'll be something different within the next 5 or 6 years and it'll be sad and unfair too

In the Chris D’Elia incident there was a lot more evidence that displayed his email, phone number and aligned show dates. Mind you, I was a big D’Elia fan.
