man f*** zara larson and her one song from 10 years ago
Midnight sun erasure

Just feel like this performance is a reflection of what he’s been doing at home the last 5 years, watching his old YouTube vids n reminiscing on simpler times.
Bros spent half his life as a megastar and he’s only 32.
Better live vocals than most of your favourites
Forced to "hangout" with Usher, Diddy, R. Kelly, the Kursedashians. Not sure those were simpler times…
This is probably the coolest thing someone who was a child popstar could do. Wish Michael could've done this sort of thing when he was alive
cool moment
people hating are crazy, it was such a smart idea (and it was only for a short amount of time.) the guy got discovered on youtube, gets to give people a nostalgia trip on his old stuff without making it the focus and it kinda emulates the "intimate" streamer aesthetic that dominates social media rn
just read on twitter he did it because be sold most of his catalog and would have to get permission to perform it so he just played Youtube?
i kinda fux with it.
concert experiences are going to be changing so i aint knocking the move

It's more sus to do it thru YT then cause the performance is using the tracks as is. It's less grey area if he's using live band for the music cause then every part of the performance is from scratch
Likely it's just non issue cause catalog just has to do with publishing rights and royalties I think?
almost teared up watching this

this is bs btw, he can still perform them, any artist who doesn't own specific parts of their catalog doesn't need permission each time they wanna perform. as it's a separate thing.
it makes more sense to believe that he doesn't want to make those songs a focal point of the show as he doesn't get anything from repromoting them.

I see.
I take everything with a grain of salt from X anyway

i mean i could be wrong too but what i'm saying i've heard/read from other places in greater quantity from sources i trust compared to that theory i've seen on twitter
This was completely different from Franks performance lol. Frank didn’t even seem halfway engaged with the audience and dude didn’t even bother singing for like half the show during that whole DJ sequence he had. For franks standards it was absolute garbage and this is coming from someone that saw him at FYF 2017. That performance was also super simple but was FAR more impactful and calculated than the garbage Coachella 2023 performance.
man that frank performance did make me lose a lot of respect for him fr
the meme of him hating fans must be true

i saw him both times and he sounded 10x better at coachella 2023. he sang 90% of his set.
