Honestly never got why he got all the hate for the Janet thing. The moment was clearly a rehearsed thing that went wrong. Not something he did on purpose.

And I watched an interview where Janet herself said that JT called her apologizing, and asking what he could do for her.
And she said she straight up told him "don't do or say anything, and just lay low".
She said that since she was established, she'd be fine once everything blew over. But didn't want his career hurt early on.

I mean. JT kinda just died out cause I just think his time is up. He is a bit of a time capsule artist.
Main ppl who love his music are millennials/90s kids. Me included.

His 20/20 Come Back albums, while great albums, was a bit of a nostalgia throwback kind of thing that really appealed to ppl who grew up with him. I don't think he can do that twice.

I just don't think he's the kind of artist that's innovative enough to span multiple decades as one the top artist, like a Beyonce, MJ, etc.

I don't think there's any shame in dying out. It happens to everybody, and lots of artist from that era is still releasing decent music, going on small tours, and chillin.
