I think Trump is slightly more known by people. Like even the older generation will know who Donald Trump is and not necessarily know Messi/Ronaldo. But Messi/Ronaldo have more fans/supporters. Trump's is basically limited to Americans (not even all) and some other conservatives across the globe. Those 2 soccer players have every place where soccer is huge on lock (Europe, South America, Africa, Asian places like Saudi lately)
