Thread is more about being pissed at Kai rather than the rapist (even if she doesn’t see it that way) which is understandable but when it’s centered on him being involved with little to no proof rather than just being straight up about him being irresponsible that’s going to be the reaction.

As for Kai, he just is dumb. Seems he was shocked by it and was trying to get a hold of dude more than anything but instead of saying “I’m trying to contact him right now” he says “I’m calling around” and then got defensive.

At face value, there was nothing morally wrong with how Kai reacted initially. He seemed more confused than anything while also trying to get a handle on the situation in all honesty. Definitely could’ve handled it better in the perfect version but the texts are not enough to look at Kai funny fr other than why that type of person was allowed around him.
