Tes is his only album worth playing. Anything other than that is edgy c***music or just flat out trash. Strong keep, overrated “legend” and got bodied by Ja Rule, Zion and MGK.
You don't even f*** with Darkness? That song is brilliant imo and shows he can have plenty of substance/maturity when he wants too
not for me man, but I can see if you’re an alcoholic/pill poppin white boy this one might hit hard for you lol

people on this site really have the worst takes
none of those things and still enjoy the song (which has nothing to do with alcoholism whatsover ). Besides, you don't have to relate on a personal level to a song for it to have meaning or emotional impact. You should have just stopped at "not for me"
Of course he didn’t mean for it to be like that lol but it’s like he lacks self awareness, like no s*** the kids aren’t f***in with your music they’re tryna have fun not hear about you raping the alphabet. He needs to go the hov route and talk about love and family and how to be financially free and teach us something. His music has so little substance for how old he is he just be rhyming words and b****ing or making up weird scenarios. Nigga still be murdering women in skits on his albums get that s*** outta here. I’ve given all of his albums a spin at release and idk if there’s been a song I genuinely enjoy since recovery
Ehhh I can tell you not really listening to his s*** like that, but a lot of rappers have a shtick, his just happens to be that murder s*** lol I haven’t had a problem with it yet, but it’ll get stale soon. It fit with his 2 new albums tho

Dude talks about popping pills and drinking multiple times in the song. There’s much better music about popping pills to cope with depression, if this what you into tho I’m not knocking you

The voice and flows make it hard for a lot of the lyrics to stick tbh

it's deeper than that b
"t has become common for rappers to metaphorically compare the words they spit to weapons, and their performances to murders. Here, Em both takes this convention to extremes and inverts it. While the beginning of the song might lead listeners to believe they are simply hearing an account of an artist’s pre-performance anxiety, à la “Lose Yourself,” it is eventually revealed that the narrator is Stephen Paddock, the murderer responsible for the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history, the 2017 Las Vegas shooting. As a result, a disturbing allegory is revealed that compares high-profile killings to an artist’s performance.
The song ends with a compilation of overlayed news clips from various shootings that have occurred in the United States in recent years, suggesting that Em is attempting to bring further awareness to America’s ongoing gun problems. He even has a quote on his website that states, “WHEN WILL THIS END?
