we like rap music (or all music with vocals) because we know that the person was in front of the mic and we are hearing what was recorded. even with autotune, you're hearing what was captured. you're hearing the artist with an effect. just like when a vocal track has distortion or echo or a chorus, it still an actual persons voice captured and you still hear it in there. ai completely removes that, the vocal on the track is a total digital approximation.

and thats assuming its still kanye recording the ORIGINAL vocal that then gets ran through an ai vocal changer. if its ghostwriters/performers and then THAT'S changed to sound like kanye? thats even less like autotune lol
