the list is obviously subject to opinion, but they got a lot right. Kanye is placed accurately. Neptunes accurate, the top 10 could shuffle a bit, Mike Will Made It IS NOT better than Kanye, but alot aren't that wrong. Some big misses are Tay Keith on the list - tag is iconic though i won't lie. Internet Money as a collective (Taz Taylor and Nick Mira) should probably be placed there around 40 or 50. The Alchemist should be in the mid tier. I stan Pierre, but maybe Bourne could be around Internet Money range. Hit-Boy not on the list is a big L.

Educate yourself in music - Max Martin is a legend. Kanye did make Taylor famous, but then Max Martin probably second. Also Max produced a lot of The Weeknd's last album which was stellar. Pop has numbers so.....

Man is single handedly responsible for the almost all of the biggest pop eras of the last 20 years.

The Weeknd’s biggest hits (Blinding Lights, Cant Feel My Face, Save Your Tears), Taylor’s entire pop era (from Red to Reputation), Katy Perry’s peak (from Kissed a Girl to Roars everything in between), Ariana Grande’s whole career, Kesha’s debut, Britney’s last hits, the list goes on. The man is the single most dominant force in pop music

Idk, I think Teenage Dream and 1989 will stand as quintessential pop albums of the 2010’s. I think his production on Blinding Lights will prove to be influential, and will be remembered for a long time.

Most importantly though, his production has shaped the sound of pop music time and time again. When people look back at the sound of 2010’s pop music, they’ll be looking at a sound Max Martin was behind.
