They won’t do anything lol. He helps them as much as they help him. Lose Kanye and you also lose $1.5B a year
I remember after the 2018 TMZ stuff the head of adidas was on CNBC basically implying they’d never do anything. Ye off the hook as long as business is good
Adidas makes >$26b in revenue a year. They'll take a small hit but would be fine. Kanye on the other hand would lose the ability to manufacture the one product that's made him a billionaire. They both need each other, but he needs them more than they need him right now.

Adidas was not in a great spot at all before Ye came tho. That high revenue is off of Ye influence over the years. S*** like ultraboosts only gained major steam after Ye wore em. Lose that relationship and you’re not even just losing the Yeezy slice but a lot of built up credit that’s gonna leave with him. It’s not a subtraction problem the whole company stock goes down
Nike is roaming free with hype endorsements and major stars and are still seen as the main sports brand. Adidas slashing their main celebrity who has a whole brand behind him delivering dozens of shoes a year just isn’t a good idea. You can make up with those lame quick deals like Beyoncé’s but nothing gave longevity like Yeezy did and it’s still growing. 350s were a top 10 seller last year. Get rid of all that for what? Tweets?
He’s not hurting sales and his business rises every year. He’s borderline untouchable with them at this point and that’s why he’s confidently doing this. Ye realistically can bounce through brands like how he’s shipping the clothes through GAP rn

26B revenue don’t mean s*** if the profit is low or not there at all
Yeezy is way more profitable than any thing else they have
Out of the 1.5B revenue Yeezy does a year, they are taking home a way bigger % of profit compared to the rest of their business structure. This is probably due to the fact that they can sell almost all of their supply of yeezys online & directly to the consumer from a central warehouse vs putting Adidas products in different retailers like JCP , Dillard’s, Finish Line, And even their own outlet stores. Bc putting it in stores those items might just sit . Even when they did Yeezy in store drops/pickup, they knew that product would never sit and it is sometimes better to ship 1 pallet of a few hundred pair of shoes to a store in downtown Chicago and have hundreds of people come get the shoes, rather than pay to ship them all out one by one.
They tried to replicate the Yeezy model with their own shoes in the nmd and ultra boost and it worked for a short time, but the fact they couldn’t sustain that shows they really don’t know what they’re doing or at least don’t know how to execute it well.. unlike Ye
that tweet about North has me seriously concerned about his health :/
why? it’s understandable, black celebrities coming at the industry never ends well
or u meant health as security then I agree

Are you forgetting that they have to give a 15% cut to Ye?
And although you may not see Yeezys sitting in the stores, every major shoe retailer sells the brand. Every drop there's at least 20 stores in my area having raffles to buy the sneakers. Footlocker, Champs, Finish Line, boutiques, hell I've even seen Pac-Sun sell Yeezys. And that's just the in-store inventory and not including all the retailer online stores. You're delusional if you think they sell nearly all the supply directly.

wouldn’t all those retailers be buying the shoes from adidas anyway? they don’t get them jus cus they’re shoe retailers
This man is unstable. Help him! Wtf he has a family and a wife, a lot of people working for him. Can't someone step in? what the hell
He's probably chilling in his ranch or in his other property surrounded by his team tweeting lmao
Just like the Kris tweets where he was in his ranch with Bieber and Dame.

Yeah, that's how it works for all shoes. But the guy I was replying to was trying to make the argument that Yeezys have a higher profit margin because they don't use third-party retailers. Which is asinine. You can go on Sneaker Links and see that every major release is at at least 30 different retailers.
Taylor fans still chatting s*** in the comments

kinda i guess. like ive always been adidas fam i just know public perception wasnt that hot at that point other than typical stan smiths and originals.
there'd even be like barely any basketball shoes other than the Rose's too. Just was missing exactly Kanye
like they weren't even 2 to Nike back then i think it was Sketchers or New Balance there for the longest time until around 2018 when everything just kicked in with sales for them

Adidas has firmly held the second largest global market share for the sportswear industry for at least 15 years now. Kanye did not get them into that position. He did help lead a brand resurgance that's now starting to slow down but they've been #2 since Reebok fell off.
When he like that Cardi B tweet, is that old or new?
very old
he did it by mistake while trying to unfollow someone in like january
this nigga @Placebo must've been bored lol
