my friend who is a musician myself included both enjoy the effect or way Kanye sounds in follow god.

There’s no way you can listen to Follow God and not notice the clipping and distortion

I don’t notice clipping, distortion is fine that’s something Kanye has always done especially in mbdtf

It's different here though. On MBDTF it added to the track. In this instance it just sounds bad.

There is no new mix. People just hearing the album once or twice and hearing new things on every listen.

It is a whole song - verse, chorus, verse, chorus - in IMAX. Such a strange decision.

Those talking about Follow God - I love the way the vocal sounds.

I actually think that Everything We Need ended up being the weakest track. Strong chorus, weak verses. I'd probably remove that song or simply use the "storm" portion of it as an intro or interlude, polish Use This Gospel and restore Jesus is Lord to its full glory, and I agree that this album would be very good with just those simple changes. (I go back and forth on how I feel about Closed on Sunday, but I know a lot of people like it.)
