Did he something crazy again ?
Nah the interview was pretty chill for the most part
starting to feel like this happens to so many greats. not all obviously but the older they get something just snaps.
tbh this really all reminds me of the people i know with severe mental health issues. people think if you're mentally ill you can't achieve great intelligent things like ye has, you can but it can also lead to moments like this. i sometimes wonder whether the conversation we should really be having is about mental health in the music industry.
Ye talks about 'wacko jacko', but maybe we should be talking about people like Nina Simone....
I also feel like there's been times and there still is times, where people make money out of kanye expressing himself in public when he's not fully well. if he's been struggling with bipolar for as long as it seems, then he'll have had breakdowns before 2016 but obviously he or somebody else managed to protect him from having those in public. is there nobody playing that role in 2020?
you see a lot of people insulting him rn talking about grand delusions or him being unhinged, but like have they considered that rather than it being an insult, it's actually sadly halfway to the truth.
but maybe our man really is just like this now. The vaccine/abortion stuff doesn't really surprise me from other hardcore Christians i know, but there's something about the way he's approaching everything that makes me actually be more worried about him than what he's saying.
As a music fan, it's also sad to see how he has now completely overshadowed his legacy in music. Before all of his antics kind of added character to his career, now it's getting to the point where they'll define it.
