They know themselves that we don’t have the ability to do that. It will happen eventually, but we don’t even have storage capability yet
Wind in particular is pretty much the cleanest energy we can make... Solar uses a lot of energy and creates a lot of pollution to create the panels but over the next 100 years wind and solar are going to be way cleaner than coal.

Bro can you explain how “not 100% clean either” is in any way equal to “possibly causing decades of disaster” or “most definitely f***ing up nature and oceans by the second” ?
Renewable is the way to go. the industries we have set up for coal , gas and nuclear power are way too much of a cash cow with not enough incentive for renewables for companies to make a switch or succeed

I agree and I think even sooner. Renewables will most likely be at or over 50% of energy generation by 2050
