One of the shadiest companies around. Also been caught working together with scalpers to get the tickets on Stubhub so they can squeeze even more money out of them.

wow.. that's insane. they must be involved in so many lawsuits. their partnership with (ownership of??) LiveNation is ruining the entertainment industry. most artists hate TM with a passion but must sell tickets through them because the venues they want to perform at are owned and staffed by LiveNation. it's becoming borderline monopolized, as you really don't have a choice but to sell tickets to your events through them.

Louis CK was known for calling TM out for fraudulently selling tickets above list price without the knowledge of the artist.

Yeah, some artists even sued TM themselves. I know Pearl Jam was fighting against TM for the ridiculous amount of fees they add onto the ticket prices.

I know TM also lost a lawsuit a few years back and they had to hand out discount vouchers for concerts. Only problem was the vouchers were only applicable to concerts TM picked out (so basically they limited it to artists that weren't gonna sell out or nobody was really trying to see anyway) and half the time the vouchers just gave errors.

And with the power Ticketmaster/LiveNation still hold in the US and outside of it, we're not gonna see the end of it. They'll just keep f***ing the fans over wherever they can get away with it.

That person tweeting is tripping though, I called TM the moment I heard about the price drop and they told me there was a company-wide memo sent out to refund the difference for anybody who paid at higher price on sight.

I had to call twice because I didnt have my card ready the first time and both support people were super nice and ready to refund me

Normally I would expect them to be s***ty but apparently Kanye himself told them to refund any upset customers so they have to do it, seems like he's gonna eat those costs.

Really? When I called they told me I had to reach out directly to the venue and there was nothing they can do.
