people would vote for Hawkins in an ideal world but people don't vote based on policies they want. Otherwise, Sanders would be trying to win his second term.

He’s going to cruise to victory

Biden is definitely going to win at this point though. He even has a 5 point lead in Texas by the latest poll. People on the left are already as unhappy with Trump as they've ever been, and then a growing portion on the right don't appreciate how Trump handled COVID and the BLM protests (for the wrong reasons obviously). The biggest thing he had going for him was stating that the economy was as good as it's ever been and now he doesn't even have that.
