This is what mental illness looks like. People talk about having empathy towards the mentally ill, that includes annoying famous rich people like kanye west, you can’t pick and choose when it’s convenient, or easy. If you go into any mental hospital you’ll see people saying racist, horrible things. Obviously not all people with mental illness act this way, but extending sympathy to people struggling with severe mental illness only when it’s not that bad is just inconsistent. This isn’t directed at you just a general frustration. Liberals are happy to being concerned about mental illness with it manifests in a way that’s easy to be sorry for (anxiety, depression, etc) but I really don’t see how this is different.
I dislike kanye west and will likely never listen to new music he drops in the future but overall I see it mostly as incredibly sad. And this extends to anyone suffering from severe mental illness, not just Kanye west

not a MBDTF caliber lineup, mind you, but given what happened the prior year i thought he had established himself as fully uncancellable. it really does truly feel like it's over now though.
