What does that have to do with anything?

In this case, It means that black women aren't exempt from doing foolish s*** and being called out on it (individually not as a group)
Yet when it comes to black men, it's a group thing
    That's what that means

that double standard also exist in the other way, we need to stop gender division

Just seems like people working hardest to cancel Ye are black people, which would contradict the whole movement right now of not tearing black people down. Kanye is the youngest black billionaire (out of 14 TOTAL) in the world and instead of celebrating that people are trying to tear him down, majority voices which are black. Starting to seem very choosy who we allow to say dumb s***

Makes me uncomfortable knowing a lot of the people in this thread are white having this discussion.

Common courtesy : don't interrupt someone while they're speaking

Common courtesy : don't interrupt a speaker on their platform (theater, stand-up comedian, pastor, politician ...)

    Common courtesy : don't heckle a performer/speaker

Common courtesy: don't be a disrespectful c*** when the event is for free

Imo, a fraction of attendees came their to antagonize him from jump.

How are you going to take his rally serious after the "slavery was a choice comment + maga support" go up there and pretend to care about what Kanye has to say.

They went there to call him a coon, (further the narrative that he is one) that's why she's twisting the narrative like this
I,'m A BlACk WoMan ThAt' s Why HE AtTaCKed Me, why HE HUggEd tHe Whiye GIrl And NOt Me

Not mentioning she was heckling him the entire time and never got to a middle ground unlike the other woman that was there (she was obnoxious but actually listened and nodded in agreement to certain points Kanye made, it got heated at some points but the communication was better because she wasn't heckling him the entire time )

you sound like you agree with that and need her narrative to be true so you can call him a coon in peace too
    It's not happening.

How are black people who think he he's a sell-out still participating in debates with him is beyond me
Get that need for confirmation bias outta here

When were political rallies not free? Calling women c***s now? Lmao.

I love how you ignore all the times he cuts people off but its okay because" hes Kanye and he made albums I liked" lmao.

How you know she was heckling him the entire time? I saw the same video as you and from what I hear the entire crowd kept talking and laughing at the dumb s*** he was saying. You're just upset because u think this one girl was "clout chasing" because she's publically retelling an event from her firsthand perspective.

The man is blatanly mentally ill and supporters of him like yall shouldnt be goading him on to these publicity stunts when its only gonna make his mental health worse.

a fair point and I feel the same but doesn't help that he is constantly trying to rehash black history and insulting black iconic leaders. again what's hurtful is that he's a black man who's mentally not stable however that doesn't excuse his actions or words

  • Social media and cancel culture a poisonous mix. Everything has to become some macro political transgression. This is all being framed as Ye “targeting” and harassing a woman because she is black, compounding the whole Uncle Tom narrative being pushed by the pop culture. All I see in this video is Ye having an angry back and forth. I don’t think her race is relevant here and I also don’t think Ye hates his own people. Anybody that listens to his music, knows his history and knows his lyrics will know that Ye loves his people and culture.

Everything has to be twisted and distorted to fit into a wider outrage scenario. All for clicks and spectacle. We are really f***ing up the prevalence of ubiquitous social media and the assimilation of it into our wider lives and politics. Trump is a symptom of it and now we are witnessing all the manifestations of the wider disease and seem to be sleepwalking into dystopia.

And why the f*** are we in a position where Ye is holding rallies and posturing as some kind of quasi legitimate political figure. Is that where we REALLY want to be headed? Celebrities as politicians. Again, f***ing Trump caused this.

We really going to lose this man if somebody doesn’t intervene and take him away from the toxic celebrity milieu. His whole life is one big spectacle for media to gawk at and exploit. I believe in Ye and want him to get better. I just want him to go back to being a super nerd in the studio away from all the BS and noise.

    Praying someone saves him.

Hov, come and get your lil brother.

Absolutely horrible phrasing, without a doubt and even worse when you think of the Harriet Tubman "controversy" with the $20 bill and Trump's stance on it. If he deliberately worded it that way for the backlash then he deserves it, but a part of me thinks he is legitimately bad at communicating his ideas when he's on the spot like that (like most people). He sounds even worse when it's literally difficult to find context for it or a clip on twitter longer than the one sentence.

Nail on the head. Kanye isn’t exactly the greatest orator in the world, nor does he have a penchant for subtlety. He’s an amazing musician, truly one of the greatest of all time, but he’s also very erratic and whimsical. People beating him and knocking him down with ridiculous standards. He does not have a bad heart, but he certainly does not have the erudition required to understand the complexity of racial history and social politics. People trying to attribute malice to Ye like he’s some sort of red-pilled Uncle Tom. It’s not that serious. I’m not saying that he’s dumb or anything, but he doesn’t strike me as a well-read guy who is versed on politics and history. And that’s ok. Candace Owens IS different, however, as she is clearly a smart woman who seems ideologically positioned (whether through financial benefit or not) and has a veneer of rationality that shrouds her BS ideas.

Why the f*** does a Ye presidential rally exist in the first place? This is what pisses me the f*** off. He’s being recklessly abandoned by those closest to him. Just feel like he’s a sitting duck out there for the media to vilify him.

anybody who acts like a c***, will be called one. Or do insults only offend you when directed towards a woman

I'm not a Kanye stan,he shouldn't have done this rally, he wasunprepared
Yes he was responding in unprofessional manners to the crowd too.

I just see the games y'all play, people just need a villain these days.
There are def people who came up their expecting it to be a s*** Show/wanting to antagonize him (I had a hunch and it got confirmed in the other thread about the girl who said "we're leaving right bow" but kept uploading footage of the event)

Yes the rally was free like all rally, it's still common courtesy to not be a disrespectful, heckling c***.

Edit:To the Kanye fans this applies too, at least they're following a artist that accomplished huge feats (classic albums, booming business, yeezy shoes) instead of falling for the "everyone is opressed 24/7 therefore they can't be called out on their bullshit without it being oppressive🤪"okedoke on Twitter.

Kanye is wrong as hell for some of the things he said, but caping for clout chasing losers isn't helping the cause you feel me
