All for a s***ty forced Christianity shtick. OG Selah is incredible and full of energy. The JIK Selah we got is flat, has no energy and is full with forced lyrics. Same with UTG/Law of Attraction. Both had the potential to be top 10 Kanye songs but he blew it. And then he scrapped songs like City In The Sky too. What the f***.
This whole Christianity shtick feels shallow and inauthentic as f***. On "On God" he whines about how taxes f*** up his bag. That's why he wants to establish his own church for the Sunday Service choir to sell his merch tax free. You heard it here first.
It's not about living a Christ-like life. Melon mentioned some points that support this theory in his review as well. Some of his statements are conflicting as f*** and make no sense.
But I get it. Most of you aren't ready to have that convo yet.
Keep this energy when the Messiah returns.
Imagine voting for Hillary Clinton. Look up the Clinton body count and tell me you would've rather seen her win.

OG Selah is one of the best songs I've heard this year, like top 5, it's crazy.

I just get sad whenever I listen to it now. Oh man.

Never heard it. Stayed away from the leaks. Imma give it a listen

I'm a Trump supporter. Some peanut-brained mental prisoners on here automatically associate that with someone being racist for some reason. Sad.
You ever get one of those That So Raven mind flashes whenever you read something and go "this aint gon go well"
don’t get me wrong, og selah would be top 10 kanye and i don’t understand why it was calmed down but hallelujahs are already one of the most iconic things in his discog. yandhi would be another pablo with no theme. jik is a project that stands out
I stayed no leak through all of this so this was my first listen of OG Selah. What the f***! This is kinda what I thought the album was gonna sound like until the stories from the listening parties came out. This is too good to be vaulted.

Peep the rest of the Yandhi leaks bro, s*** slaps

JIK stands out in the worst way imaginable.
That being said I don't HATE JIK but it's bottom 2 in his discog for sure. I hate what JIK could've been.
So you expected it to be like a mid album and instead got a trash album? Gotcha
I gave OP points for the tax free Merch comment cause that seems spot on.
I took away those points when you admitted to STILL being a trump supporter and posting that ridiculous Hilary body count video.
Good thread though.

eh I mean ur close with a lot of this but it def wasn't MBDTF level. not even close. and no, this isn't about taxes lol. he's spent more setting this stuff up than he would potentially save in taxes, and shop.kanyewest.com is not a website affiliated with the church, so reach.
however, I do agree that this whole thing feels shallow/forced and that the music he had before was better
