I never heard the leaks tbh. Feel like it’s healthier, to not be caught up in fomo like OP

Actually, I do and I’m even a fan of some leftist personalities like Hasan Piker. Most major leftists don’t support Hillary. She’s f***ing scum. It’s an open secret that the 2016 DNC elections were smeared and Bernie was really supposed to win. I’m not a fundamental Republican. I supported Obama. But as of right now there’s nothing worth supporting on the left. The Democratic Party is in shambles.

Real for being a Hasan Piker fan

Christians: I was doubtful, but this sounds really genuine and the lyrics are perfect

Atheists: what a phony, lyrics are corny

All for a s***ty forced Christianity shtick. OG Selah is incredible and full of energy. The JIK Selah we got is flat, has no energy and is full with forced lyrics. Same with UTG/Law of Attraction. Both had the potential to be top 10 Kanye songs but he blew it. And then he scrapped songs like City In The Sky too. What the f***.

This whole Christianity shtick feels shallow and inauthentic as f***. On "On God" he whines about how taxes f*** up his bag. That's why he wants to establish his own church for the Sunday Service choir to sell his merch tax free. You heard it here first.

It's not about living a Christ-like life. Melon mentioned some points that support this theory in his review as well. Some of his statements are conflicting as f*** and make no sense.

But I get it. Most of you aren't ready to have that convo yet.

Tbh I dont think he has malicious intent but you are definitely on the right track.

Organised religion and institutional christianity is menacing and manipulative as f***, and because he sees that society/the people around him accept it he thinks its fine (plenty of celebs are into that bullshit i.e. justin bieber and hillsong)

Plus allowing your daughter to dress as Satan one week after release 🤣

    OK OK

not sure if srs. whats genuine about saying you need to sell expensive clothes to feed your millionaire wife

It probably hit for the millionaires that lost their entire fortune through bad spending habits. I mean 3 years ago bro was like $50+ million in debt until Kim helped him out of it, that would haunt anybody

Also, Yandhi clearly was super garbage. We don’t have to pretend to have liked Yandhi just to s*** on JIK mr. white person

You know a thread's too real when people bring up your political affiliation out of the blue. Tragic.

y'all were gonna say it was trash no matter what

ye said on carpool karaoke that he thinks it's blasphemous to try and make anything perfect because only god can be perfect

everybody seems to want another perfect album but ye is content not making that

HA HA that was a good one, your first good one in a while.

  • Nov 1, 2019

JIK has its flaws but let's stop pretending Yandhi was MBDTF level with songs like New Body and I Love It

Imagine thinking you HAD to pick a side. Voting for the lesser of two evils doesn't make your decision any better

  • Nov 1, 2019

yall wild af yandhi wasn't even remotely this good jesus

  • Nov 1, 2019

He’s not right mentally. Scrapped a lot of great songs. Yandhi could have been as good as 808’s and Graduation. Maybe not as good as MBDTF and Yeezus but it was sounding like a stellar album. He replaces a full sounding real album with a few messy unfinished sounding songs.

  • Nov 1, 2019

I think a combination of the best ideas on the Yandhi leaks and Jesus Is King would've been great. But Yandhi tracks like New Body and Alien sound too much like Kanye trying to be relevant in this era. Dope songs but I would be glad if this those tracks didn't make the final cut. But songs like Last Name, OG Use This Gospel, OG Selah and City In The Sky would've been dope. Either way I feel like Kanye just doesn't have it like he used to. He'll make okay music but I don't expect anything that I could love from him anymore.
