I feel like what's happened to Kanye is often the inevitable result for ppl who rely so heavily on instinctive feeling for their creative output - eventually that instinct gets dulled and there's no set way to sharpen it again. Kanye went from having this great ear and taste for things musically especially, drawing on the influence of his whole circle, to going on these wild solo runs, either cutting too much or not enough from his albums etc. It's sad
