i agree, i was higher on ye than most people were when it dropped too

idk, JIK just really left a sour taste in my mouth. i’ll usually listen to a kanye album or two in full in a week but i haven’t revisited that project since the week it dropped

i’d still have a bit more hope if nah nah nah wasn’t easily the worst song i’ve ever heard from him. i get that it’s just a throwaway single but the fact that he thought it was worth dropping kinda has me worried he’s lost his ear to a degree, or he just cares a little less about the quality of what he puts out

regardless, he’s still my favorite artist of all time and his first two albums are probably my favorite of the genre, and nothing he does will change that. i’m just trying to be a realist/pessimist so i don’t go into this hyped to get another JIK first listen experience

i’m not a snippet guy though so hopefully i’ll just be the last one on this site to find out it’s flames lol
