O-Rod’s grip on the game too serious for kanye to afford the f***ery again
I actually do kinda agree. Like if an album is great from start to finish and it’s super long, like I can’t hate on it. But I just feel like 45-60 minute albums are ideal.
Like with Stevie Wonder, imo Innervisions and Songs in the Key of Life are his best 2 albums, but I don’t find myself listening to songs in the key of life start to finish nearly as often cause it’s a little long for me
an hour and a half straight listening is a big commitment, for that reason I can't see this getting many whole way through listens unlike in recent years ye/JIK but similar to Pablo in that songs and runs of songs over time I will play a lot
Not a copypasta lmfao but the potentials there
And no im not put me on
The second half and the movie ending are arguably the greatest works in anime ever IMO. Highly recommended.
The reason I brought it up is that there was a reboot of the series that recently ended. A lot of people felt like the reboot was a significant downgrade, but what was interesting was that it ended with the characters growing up in unexpected ways and moving on.
The point sort of felt like "stop emotionally investing in this franchise and go outside". Part of me feels the same way about Kanye. His creative run has been great to watch (especially 2004-2016), but it's often too easy to live vicariously through others.
I don't think we can keep waiting for another MBDTF to restore the feeling. It might never happen again. I think we're meant to go out and create our own MBDTF.
So how long is the album now

Yeah shoulder to lean on is one of the few songs where the minimalism/no drums idea actually worked really
