I think weve all known that for a while about mbdtf but kanye keeps selling us a brighter horizon with every album where we can’t help but become emotionally invested. Its obvious that he cares a lot about the standard his old work has set regardless of whether or not he tries to live up to it
Agreed, there's always those 1-2 tracks that make you feel like the potential is still there. I don't see him giving up on music anytime soon, so who knows.
And I think there's so much to be said about nostalgia and it's place within modern society, but this is probably not the right thread
