This is why I think JIK makes more sense. He committed to the Jesus s*** with the Sunday Service choir and everything. Jesus WAS the aesthetic. Because of that, the religious stuff is a lot more annoying to me on this album.

Jesus is King felt like Kanye had something to say. To Kanye, it was the biggest thing in the world. It was cleansing. I don’t really know what this new album is. Sorta seems like it’s an identity crisis.
