They striving patiently for perfection
never abandon my family donda lord i need you jesus lord??? huh
Every song on ye is super personal and deep, like 90% of the album isn't super personal and the stuff that is is more surface level on that stuff which is fine, he wasn't going for super raw and detailed he was going for something more polished
Jesus Lord is pretty impersonal too considering most of the verse is from the perspective of other people
yeah, feelings for the spotlight you mean
The clown you stan has a big affinity for the spotlight too, far worse than Kim often
They’re updating the album to include Vic Mensa on every song.
inshallah
you were negative in the last months/years
Yeah true. Because i grew up w Ye albums being the best of the best. I always keep him to high standards, i kinda expect a MBDTF everytime which i maybe shouldnt. And although Pablo was good, i didn't like it that much. Since then only been downhill in quality imo, doesn't mean i didn't like some of his music. I actually liked JIK more than ye. Played some tracks of JIK a lot that year, but both albums were average imo. KSG was a return to form but had not much replay value imo.
I disliked what i heard at the 1st listening party cause it was unfinished af. If he dropped it like that it wouldve been his worst album imo. If he drops it now it could be around TLOP level i think, maybe higher. So yeah been negative. Still a bit negative bout some of his rapping on this album tho, but atleast it sounds much better than his last albums
