Why do you have to hate on JIK to praise Donda?
He wanted to drop JIK 2 which maybe could've been an improvement but it he scrapped it last minute.
He almost released an album last year but decided to sit on it as unexpectedly as he scrapped JIK2, now he has made an unpredictable move and decided to work on Donda some more.
So, to summarise it, first of all, lately Kanye is pretty random and that works for some albums, and doesn't work for other, so he can take a good or a bad decision.

Secondly, I don't see Donda as some perfectionist Kanye album, but it's my personal opinion, anyway my answer doesn't take itin consideration.
