honestly have no clue why anyone is defending anyone involved in this.

we’re not “rushing” anything - the album was announced for July 24th 2020. then July 23rd 2021. then august 7th 2021. there’s no “oh this is a different album.” I don’t give a s*** about the title or the content. AN album, was promised, in 2020. as far as I’m concerned, Donda was due for 2020, making this a 1 year delay, not “just a couple weeks.” you don’t announce a release date and hold “launch parties” for s*** that isn’t done. if it’s not done, don’t advertise a release date.

if the album IS done, of course Ye has the right to withhold it and work on it. but again.. why put out commercials and billboards and listening parties? there’s no excuse. silence would’ve been better.

KC can shut the f*** up. sure, maybe his info is right and then Ye changes his mind. I don’t see how this excuses him though? he chooses to tweet news / cryptic s***. anyone mad at KC has a right. no one outside of this sub knows him, and we know him because of his stupid cryptic tweets. he’s talented, yes, but HE made himself into less than a talented upcoming artist. HE made himself into the Donda news guy.

just had to rant, I’m annoyed looking at how many people are saying “fIrSt RoLlOuT?” “it comes when it comes.” “Kanye is a perfectionist.”

edit: f*** the “I’d rather have delays than a mid album” too. we heard it already, it’s good. and yes, I’m mad. of course.

yes we are entitled to this. Frank doesn’t owe his fans an album because he never advertised one. Ye did. we give him money and popularity, we get the album HE promotes in return. “he doesn’t owe you anything” is a stupid take
