Yeah they been at a breaking point hiphop never been so big as it is now here national and international hip hop. Feel like people catching up to ye again too. Sure his fanbase was never small here but atleast in my age group and younger fellas wasnt really paying attention to him as they do rn
I think because ye and JIK wasn't that accessible to the younger generation in general. People from Germany usually don't care about introspective and religious songs, so it was expected they're more hyped about something like Donda because it's more like TLOP
