There are way too many features on Donda. A lot the songs have features that overload the song and are frankly better than Kanye’s verse. The best songs on the album don’t have any features or they are very minimal. Like Jesus is Lord.

This is the reason I don’t want a Weeknd feature on Hurricane. His voice over powers both features on the song and it doesn’t really sound like Kanye’s song anymore.

There are also many unnecessary features that could be easily scrapped. West side Gunns feature sounded so weird on that one song and I hope I never hear that Kanye verse again 😵‍💫

TLOP did a much better version of adding features where necessary to make it more cohesive. This feels like he’s throwing s*** to the wall and seeing what sticks. I mean there is goddamn 24 songs and almost 30 features. And we just saw migos with Kanye.

The songs that are good need Kanye to reach the same performance as the features to make it classic. Pure Souls, No Child Left Behind, are some of the few songs where he did that. Cudi and Don were better on Moon, Travis and Keem were better on Praise God, etc etc
