The ye reviews were laughable
Ehh i think a lot of media coverage on Ye has changed recently already with him just being quiet, non-controversial and actually having people happy about his music. You already got Complex and Buzzfeed saying its prob his best album in 8 years (they said this its not my opinion - they're also not really reviewers) and he has more hype than ever since 2016. He hasn't had better media in recent memory
Ye and JIK, and if he dropped last year all had the reasoning still for keeping up the hate but his public perception is already way different this past month
We'll see tho

Definitely agree with this. I also think the change in US politics have made ppl less on-edge lmao. Critics will def be kinder to this record.
