ANTIanswering your question from yesterday before i head out:
too long, too many songs are completely overtaken by the features. i know people said the same about tlop but i never agreed, definitely think that's the case this time though. i think some odd choices were made, like turning the most introspective song on the album into a posse cut. also most egregious imo is that it just doesn't feel like an album dictated by kanye. i guess it shares a lot with tlop but at least tlop always felt like kanye was pulling all the strings, doesn't feel like that here to me

QueenKonaAll this TLOP vs Donda comparison doesn’t seem right to me. As enjoyable as TLOP is, it’s not cohesive. Play through TLOP in order and it sounds like a random compiliation of Kanye songs from different eras and wavelengths.
Donda’s songs absolutely feel more of the same family, timeframe, and mindset.
