Has Mike never been the final touch on one of the albums he worked on with Ye? I don’t think him being finished is good unless they are completely done

I’m using a throwaway because he uses Reddit and I don’t want him to see this. I’ve been dating my boyfriend for about 8 months he’s you’re pretty average high school guy. Big into sports likes rap music typical bro. He’s super sweet and genuinely a good boyfriend however there is one issue I can’t get rid of with him.

It all started last November when Kanye ran for president. He started getting really involved and started listening to his music a lot more, I don’t think he listed to him previously and if he did it wasn’t much. Time passes and eventually he ONLY listens to Kanye west like at all times no matter where we are. We went to parties and he would hop back on aux and start playing Kanye. And not even the notable Kanye songs like “stronger” “all of the Lights” and “Jesus Walks” just random songs no one knows

Now with his new album coming out it’s reached its maximum annoying level. He’s constantly sending he memes of Kanye and when I get mad I him he texts me back “how could you be so heartless”. It’s annoying his whole personality has become Kanye west, I asked him if he loved me or Kanye more and he answered “you didn’t drop Yeezus” like what even does that mean. And it’s making it even worse because now he’s sad because kanye keeps not releasing his album. And then I have to be the one to comfort him when I really don’t care.

I don’t even like Kanye that much I mean he’s good but rap isn’t my go to when it comes to music.

What should i do? I genuinely like him but this is driving me insane

TLDR: my boyfriend has made his whole personality Kanye west and I don’t know how to address this with him.
