I don’t understand why the hell Ye did that.
He stressed so much about achieving commercial success so what does he do to reach his goal? Make his album an exclusive on a failing platform out of loyalty to Jay-Z who clearly didn’t care that much about him.
And Ye has to have been aware of it. As he said “a million illegally downloaded my truth over the drums”.

he was popular and critically acclaimed but 808s, mbdtf and yeezus were what made people call him a visionary artist
and drake could never achieve that because he cant take risks that big with his music
