after skipping out on the first two listening parties due to work, you decide to drop everything and attend kanye west's listening party for DONDA in chicago

you drive halfway across the country and spend nearly $800 in gas, hotel feels, your ticket price, and food/drinks - which just so happens to be your remaining savings

your boss texts you that you're fired for taking time off work. "Well, at least I get to witness this once in a lifetime moment."

you notice hours before the listening party someone posts a picture of them in a makeshift studio at solider field

"Huh, thats weird. I guess kanye is just recording verses for his next album already"

you arrive 2 hours early to the listening, by yourself. you wait patiently, but he is 2 hours late himself

finally, the stadium lights turn on. they are centered on kanye in the middle of the stadium

they turn different ambient colors and he begins to lift off the ground, floating into the sky.

a beautiful choir backing instrumental starts, followed by trumpets and charlie wilson backing vocals. you suddenly hear ye vocals "Uh..." like he is about to start rapping
