Yeah this. He’s better than mumble-rap lol.

That’s why I’m sad he doesn’t seem to be using Believe What I Say. That really sounds like old Kanye, but coming into the 2020s in the right way.

Not hating on the album though. Just hope he adds even more rapping (the way he did between the first & second streams).

It's not even the bars necessarily, it's just that they're very superficial. "God'll handle the lawyer fees" "God will heal you" just seem super surface-level.

If Ye makes a religious song about God I want to know more about his relationship with God and why he needs him, like in Jesus Lord or Jesus Walks. Not just "I like God, he's the best", which is what JIK ended up being
