Palestinian OoziLmaooo I just don’t understand why people are looking to Kanye for morality and moral stances when all he’s ever done his entire career is blur the lines. It’s legit like his battle cry. R Kelly to Marilyn Manson. Da Baby to Donald Trump. Bill Cosby is innocent. Like when I first heard that song I perceived it as him not wanting to abandon his family, and being emotionally distraught at having to do so.
So if you frame it that way it shows the grief he was going thru at the prospect of losing his family and then it comes full cirflr with Come To Life where he doesn’t lose them.
I never perceived that song as him wanting to abandon his family but instead HAVING to and doing everything in his power to NOT have to. “Daddy why did you leave, daddy please don’t leave” like he’s being forced to, but then at the end it all works out
